Goodway versus Rotobrush versus Abatement Technologies

Let's compare similar duct cleaning equipment from three major
manufacturers, Goodway, Rotobrush, and Abatement Technologies.

Goodway
Goodway duct cleaning equipment-

Goodway duct cleaning equipment is built to appeal to an industrial
client.

Goodway features a "rotary" brush duct cleaning machine that appears to
be more compact than a Rotobrush or most of the Abatement Technologies
equipment.

Their site makes you fill out a complicated form to get a quote.

This company does not package marketing materials with its equipment,
or even package the equipment into a business system.

Goodway is oriented towards the industrial client or cleaning service,
rather than a residential duct cleaning business.

Rotobrush

Quick disclaimer: the only duct cleaning equipment that I have
purchased is a used Rotobrush.

Rotobrush-

The Rotobrush company is very good at marketing their equipment. In
nearly every business, it's the marketing that's most important!

There is no question, the Rotobrush company is fantastic at marketing
their product.

And, a Rotobrush is a solidly built piece of equipment. In my
experience, the drawback is that the Rotobrush was heavy and bulky to
get in and out of the back of my pickup truck.

Some cramped homes made it difficult to maneuver the Rotobrush and the
long suction hose.

The Rotobrush did not go up and down stairs easily with just one
person. In fact, it was downright dangerous to go up and down stairs
with a Rotobrush and one person.

Also, we had some issues with the hose ripping, but we were able to
repair it.

Abatement Technologies

Now let's look at the packages put together by Abatement Technologies.
This company is similar to Rotobrush because they have created
"packages" of turn-key duct cleaning equipment.

Abatement Technologies Duct Cleaning System-
Abatement Technologies, like Rotobrush, makes a duct cleaning
business package, which includes marketing materials

Only their most expensive package comes with marketing materials,
however.

Keep in mind that the marketing of your duct cleaning business is very
important.

Even more important than the duct cleaning equipment you choose for
your business!

things that you need to know.

Abatement Technologies until you watch this video.

Should you join NADCA?

Should you join NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association)?
National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA)-

Membership in NADCA is not as important for your business as your
marketing.

I did not join it when I had my duct cleaning business. I didn't feel
NADCA membership would make a big difference with my potential
customers.

And it didn't.

There were other factors that had a much bigger effect on my duct
cleaning business than membership in NADCA.

Factors like... whether your region has a great deal of hot water
heating systems. Or how you market your business.

NADCA makes you register, then get certified according to their
program. It costs around $800 or more -- per year -- to be a member.

Is Rotobrush a scam?

The answer is no... but...

Rotobrush doesn't tell you the whole truth about the duct cleaning
business.

The marketing system behind your duct cleaning business is more
important than your equipment.

The whole truth is that the marketing of your duct cleaning business is
more important than your ability and the equipment you choose for your
business.

Does that sound a bit... goofy? Strange?

Well... you can probably make a better burger than one from Mickee
Dee's (McDonald's) right?

But you and I both would have a heck of a time building a business as
successful as McDonald's.

You see, in business, marketing is more important than the product
itself!

If you really want to succeed in the duct cleaning business, you need
to first establish there is a demand for the service in your area.

Then, you need to really create a kick-butt marketing system for your
business.

As you may know, I started a ran a duct cleaning business.

I decided to purchase a used Rotobrush for my duct cleaning equipment.

After many hours of use, I decided to review the equipment and post the
recording on Youtube.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
